I go by Dave Macdonald. I built my RV-10, completing it Feb. 2020 and making first flight April 2020.  I still need to get it painted, but I am enjoying it even without the fancy paint job. I retired from my roll as a major capital project general manager with Chevron in January 2016, and started my RV-10 build shortly after that.  I got a great start by taking the Synergy Air Empennage Class in Oregon, and highly recommend this to new builders. I live in Sugar Land, TX. Unfortunately I have been unable to attend our chapter meetings recently due to a medical issue.  Treatment is progressing well, but it will likely be 1Q 2023 before I can once again attend the meetings and resume flying my RV-10 Regards,Dave
