I learned to fly in the Pacific Northwest at Gray Army Airfield, Fort Lewis Washington, while in High School. Attended college in Eastern Washington attaining my Commercial, Instrument, Multi-Engine and CFI. I returned to the Seattle area to work for ASA writing written test guides, teaching ground school, selling pilot supplies in the retail store and flight instructing. From there I went to Guam to fly throughout the Mariana Islands, Micronesia and the Western Pacific in GAF Nomads, Embraer Bandeirantes, Twin Otters for several local commuter airlines and eventually the B727 and B757 for Continental Air Micronesia. At Continental I flew B727, B757, B767, B777 and B787. I retired from United Airlines, flying the B777. I’m currently building a Van’s RV-10 in my hangar at CXO.
