My Profile

My wife and I retired in 2019. Knowing nothing about airplanes, we decided that we would build and learn to fly a twin engine taildragger. I'm married to Kathy Barbieri (also an EAA member) and we have two adultish children - Dante and Erik. I spent my career in IT, working as a programmer, data modeler, project manager, data engineer, BI specialist, and sometimes a manager. I worked for oil & gas companies, financial companies, and local government. My hobbies include photography (https://photos.barbierifamily.org), disc golf, and trying to build an airplane.
