Our Mission:
“The IMC/VMC Safety Forum is basically a safety meeting promoting Aviation Safety and Proficiency. We gather together for the purpose sharing stories from our various levels of experience. We encourage all pilots to get out and receive as much training training as possible to stay proficient in the VMC as well as the IMC environment. We also highly encourage those with IFR ratings to become current again and use their rating as much as possible.
The meetings are about learning from each other and sharing our flying experiences through organized hangar flying. We encourage pilots to fly and have fun using their flying privileges.
All pilots flying and non-flying are invited to join our meetings.
The IMC/VMC Safety Forum meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 19:00. Our venue will be announced through the EAA Chapter 302 newsletter, EAA Calendar and FAA Announcements. Our meeting agenda consists of a short aviation safety moment, a main safety topic or speaker and follow-up discussion. We encourage everyone’s input and stories during the meetings.
