My name is Joe Waltz and I am honored to serve as the President of Experimental Aircraft Association local chapter 302, located at Conroe North Houston Regional Airport in Conroe, Texas. The chapter officers are actively conducting the business and functions of our local chapter on a daily basis.
We are a group of aviation minded enthusiasts that are engaged in various activities surrounding the construction, flying, and maintenance of experimental aircraft. However, one is not required to be a pilot or builder to belong to our group, just an interest in, and support of our aviation activities is all that is necessary.
If you are building an aircraft, we have a wealth of technical information from our membership that is able to solve almost any problematic issue that could arise during your construction period. Please see a complete list of advisors and officers elsewhere on this website. My personal experience gained from constructing four complete aircraft and many components can help me to direct you to a particular individual or area of help in your pursuits.
